Jean Hincks is taking on the role of publisher at The Langley Times and the Aldergrove Star. Hincks previously worked at the Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows News for almost 20 years, working in accounting, classified, front office and advertising sales roles. She worked as an advertising manager at The Langley Times from 2007 to 2012 before becoming the publisher of the Burnaby News Leader and the New Westminster News Leader.
Hincks succeeds Dwayne Weidendorf who has served as publisher for the papers since 2006. Weidendorf is moving on to become the publisher at Black Press’s sister publications in Surrey, the Peace Arch News and Now Newspaper.
