Award-winning reporter Eric Andrew-Gee joins The Globe and Mail

Eric Andrew-Gee is joining the newsroom at The Globe and Mail as a national reporter. He has been a general assignment reporter at the Toronto Star since June 2014. Previously, he was an editor at Maisonneuve Magazine in Montreal and served an intern at The New Republic in Washington, D.C. His work has been published in Canadian Art, The Walrus, and Toronto Life, and he been nominated for two National Magazine Awards.

He earned the Goff Penny Memorial Prize earlier this year for his coverage of the death of Sammy Yatim as well as a piece that revealed the startling number of crashes involving the TTC.
