Nominations Open for the 2012 Ontario Junior Citizen Awards

Nominations are now being accepted for the Ontario Community Newspapers Association (OCNA) Ontario Junior Citizen of the Year Awards. The awards program is open to any young person between the ages of six to 17 who is actively involved in community service, has shown an act of heroism or is devoted to the improving the life of others. Ontario-based newspaper publishers are encouraged to nominate deserving individuals and recognize the contributions they make to their community.

The nomination deadline for this year’s Ontario Junior Citizen of the Year Awards is November 30, 2012.
