Metroland Printing, Publishing and Distributing Ltd., has purchased Bracebridge (ON) Examiner Limited from owners Edward and Joan Britton for an undisclosed sum. The sale adds The Bracebridge Examiner, The Gravenhurst (ON) Banner, The Muskokan and a variety of other publications covering the Muskoka Region to Metroland’s Simcoe Group.
Included in the deal is a 50 per cent interest in the Muskoka (ON) Advance, Bracebridge (ON) Weekender, Gravenhurst (ON) Weekender, and the Huntsville (ON) Weekender which they will own jointly with the Huntsville (ON) Forester.
