Canada Post/CUPW negotiations update

MAY 12, 2011 – The conciliation process used to help Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) reach a new collective agreement ended on May 3.

Meetings between Canada Post and CUPW aimed at reaching a new collective agreement continue and the government appointed third party continues to work with both parties to help them resolve disputes and find common ground. The union is not in a legal strike position and the earliest date that CUPW could go on strike is still May 25. For more details visit www.infopost.ca.
