Learn how to improve employee engagement at INK+BEYOND 2013

Research indicates that employee engagement is particularly low among newspapers and other media sector organizations. Why is this the case and what can companies do to drive employee engagement higher?

Neil Crawford, a partner at human resources consulting firm Aon Hewitt and leader of the annual Best Employers in Canada study, will speak about how newspapers of all sizes can create a highly engaged workforce during a presentation at the INK+BEYOND newspaper conference in Ottawa on Friday, May 3.

Crawford, who regularly consults with clients across Canada from a wide range of industry sectors, will share his knowledge on how organizations can respond to various workforce challenges including labour and skills shortages, greater diversity, and rising pressure to improve the return on investment.

Crawford is just one of the many renowned speakers scheduled to appear at Newspapers Canada’s INK+BEYOND newspaper conference and trade show in Ottawa this spring. The two-day conference program will cover every aspect of the newspaper business with sessions designed for all departments including editorial, advertising, circulation and management.
