Brian Gable earns honourary Doctorate from University of Saskatchewan

Longtime Globe and Mail cartoonist Brian Gable has been given a honourary Doctor of Letters degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Gable began his cartooning career at the Sheaf, the U of S student newspaper, and went on to draw for the Regina Leader-Post before joining the Globe in 1987.

Gable has earned four National Newspaper Awards for his work over his 40-year career.
