New car buyers are dedicated newspaper readers

Recent research from Newspapers Canada shows that newspapers, in any format, are the most impactful medium at all stages of the automotive path to purchase. New car buyers are dedicated newspaper readers across all platforms, with nine out of ten accessing newspaper content in print, on desktop/laptop, on their phones or on their tablets.

New vehicle sales continue to increase over last year and newspapers are the best way to reach potential vehicle buyers. A new report from DesRosiers Automotive Consulting shows that new vehicle sales in Canada are surging this summer. “The market rebounded strongly in June after a slower month in May,” the report states. “Sales finished 6% higher for the first half of 2016, without a clear sign of slowing down.”
