Popular B.C. journalist Rafe Mair dies

Rafe Mair, who began his career as a B.C. politician, but later turned to journalism to ‘hold those in power to account’ died on October 9. He was 85.

In an obit, published in the Toronto Star, Mair is remembered as a hard-hitting interviewer, who was tough but fair.

Sources say Mair’s health had been declining for a number of years.
