EXTRAS awards celebrate excellence in newspaper advertising

The Canadian Newspaper Association, in conjunction with the Canadian Community Newspapers Association is pleased to launch the Extra Awards for 2010.

The Extra Awards celebrate outstanding advertising in newspapers and their sites. And we have done so for over 20 years in Canada!
The awards are open to all – agencies, advertisers and newspapers! Ads must have run in a community or daily newspaper or on a newspaper site in Canada between June 1, 2009 and May 31, 2010.
This year, three eminent judges have been selected to judge the best newspaper advertisements in print and online. These creative experts hail from different parts of the country and will therefore provide unique perspectives and expertise:

– Shawn King, Partner, V.P., Chief Creative Officer, Extreme Group, Halifax

– Andrew Simon, Executive Creative Director, DDB. Toronto

– Dominique Trudeau, Vice President, Creative Director, Bleu Blanc Rouge, Montreal
