Vividata: Daily cross-platform newspaper readership consistent across age groups

Based on data from 72 newspapers, the most recent release from Vividata (Q2 2016 study) shows that readership by platform and device varies by age group.

Among Millennials (age 18-34), more than half of their daily newspaper reading is done on digital platforms. Almost two thirds of Millennials who read a newspaper yesterday did so on a digital platform, and smart phones are reported as their number one device choice. Thirty-five percent of Millennials are print-only readers.
