Gen-Z more likely to read newspapers in print only: research

Highlights from the most recent Vividata survey (Spring 2020) find that seven out of ten Canadians are reading newspaper brand content weekly.

Overall newspaper reading increases with age as can be seen in weekly readership for Boomers (73%) and for those born before 1946 (81%).

It is no surprise that that younger generations prefer digital reading, however Gen-Z is more likely to read newspapers in print only compared to digital only.
