Charlottetown Guardian managing editor Gary MacDougall retires

Gary MacDougall, the long-time managing editor at The Guardian in Charlottetown, is retiring from his post as the head of P.E.I.’s largest newspaper. MacDougall’s has worked in the newspaper industry for almost 50 years, starting out as a paperboy in Tyne Valley. He served as managing editor at The Guardian for 20 years and received a Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2013 for his contributions to journalism.
