It was announced earlier this week that the Beausejour Clipper Weekly has new owners. Controlling interest in the company has been purchased by Mark Buss and his his partner Jan Perry.

This transition means that Kim MacAulay will be leaving the publishing industry. The Manitoba Community Newspapers Association sent a memo that saluted MacAulay’s contributions.
“We are very sad to see Kim MacAulay leave the publishing industry, as she has been a tremendous asset to all aspects of it, including all of the Boards on which she has been sitting,” the memo said. “Her candor, humour and tireless efforts on behalf of all of the MCNA member newspapers will not be forgotten.”
