The Globe and Mail welcomes new staff members

Jamie Ross is the new assistant sports editor at Globe and Mail. Ross has been a Toronto Blue Jays beat reporter for MLB.com for the past two years and has worked on a freelance basis for The Canadian Press, the Globe and Vice News. A graduate of the St. Thomas University journalism program, Ross previously served as the sports editor for the school newspaper, The Aquinian, and completed internships at the Times & Transcript and The Daily Gleaner.

Nicole MacIntyre is also joining the newsroom at The Globe and Mail as the new Toronto editor. MacIntyre has worked in various editorial and reporting roles at the Hamilton Spectator for the past decade. She also held reporter positions at the Toronto Star and the Waterloo Region Record and completed a reporting internship at the London Free Press
